THE FINAL. Everyone this is not a drill and I did just say that, it is the final dance of the series. I bloody love this show and I love the final so much. I mean, who doesn’t love the best dancers doing the best dances of the series and then throwing in a no rules show dance to top everything off. I mean it’s always hard to say goodbye to the show each year, but it is always such a great nice. Lots of pros, lots of dances, lots of old celebrities coming back, and a sneaky special music guest (even if she isn’t my favourite, she be a big star!) What a night we have in store.

Strictly Saturdays | Week Eleven @ The Musicals

Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, get ready, take your seats, get comfy, because Strictly is going to the Musicals. I love this week, I think it gives a real excuse for people to go to town with costumes and characters and really sells the dances. It’s always a great spectacle and comes with an extra pro dance so what isn’t too love huh?

Holy Macaroni! It is week 10 my dancing pals! I know what you’re thinking, Blackpool has been, movies has been, Halloween is a distant memory, how can we go on? Well, let me tell you, there is going to be the first Argentine Tango of the series tonight. There is musicals and double dance weeks to work towards, and I think I can speak for the nation when I say we are hoping and praying for another disastrous danceathon, am I right?!

Strictly Saturdays | Week Nine @ The Blackpool Tower

Strictly has gone back to Blackpool and everyone is excited about that fact. It’s always a good and lively week and this year has been no different. I really enjoyed the lead up on social media and have loved it a lot. I follow so many people this year that I love watching and it has been properly fun.

Hello my lovely people, and welcome back. I really feel that the fireworks are over for Bonfire night and that I am super ready for the countdown to Christmas to begin in earnest. ‘Blackpool’ is going to be the buzz word of the week because next week we’re off to the Tower Ballroom and no-one will want to miss out.

Strictly Saturdays | Week Seven

Halloween has been and gone, which means November is here and things are hotting up in the ballroom and cooling down outside. I absolutely love this time of year. Warm boots and jumpers, birthdays, thanksgiving, Christmas songs and decorations everywhere, dark football nights, I just love it. I feel like this is where the show really hots up too. Suddenly Halloween has gone and it’s all serious from here on out and I am about it!

Strictly Saturdays | Week Six Spooktacular

It’s the best week of the Strictly year. I bloody love the Halloween Spooktacular! The dances are bigger, the pros have more to do, the hair and make up is absolutely insane, and everything just sets off and becomes big and bold and everything Strictly ever could or should be. Historically there have been some historically brilliant dances on the Halloween shows of the past, I hope this lives up to expectations.

I realise that I say things every week that sound repetitive but can you believe that we are on Week 5 already? I mean, we’re almost at Halloween week which is the first show to aim for and we’ve already had a shock elimination, and seriously, it’s week 5…whaaaaaaaat?

Strictly Saturdays | Week Four

So its week 4…already! Where does time go huh? Last week we were in the Movies, before we know it we’ll be celebrating Hallowe’en week! Week 4 has seen some historic jives and belting dances over the last few years and has been the week where some of the celebs let go and give it some beans, I hope this week is not different! This post might be a little lacking as I am not feeling my best, but I’ll get something down anyway!

Strictly Come Dancing is heading to the movies!! I absolutely love movies week. Each year, we see some hilarious, some brilliant, some genius, and some dreadful dances to iconic songs from Hollywood hits, and it always makes for an entertaining evening. It’s the week when some of the dances lose themselves in their dancing personas and come out of their shell. It’s the week that brings a special dance, and often a dance disaster. It always means extra themed pro dances (yay), and everyone has a great time.
