The 140 character review: Marvel Phase 2

The 140 character review is a short and to the point tweet length review of, well, anything really (but mainly books, movies, live productions, and TV shows). It was born from a desire to review everything I watched, read, and saw, without committing to long length reviews.  To see more, click here.

Today, I have continued with one of my favourite collections: The Marvel Universe. I  decided to split it into 3 sections, Phase 1, Phase 2, and TV series, which will be released over 3 weekends. Last week I reviewed Phase 1, and that is where I pick up from now:

The 140 character review – Welcome Back

I know I said that I was restarting this idea a couple of months ago, and then never actually did. But this time, I really am. I’m going to try and make it a regular Sunday posting on my blog. To give you an idea of what this is all about, click here.

The constant travelling on buses is starting to get very tiresome. As are the journeys to and from the bus station with our bags. The bus from Niagara falls was relatively short in comparison to many that we have had to, and will have to take, but the Amtrak has thoroughly spoilt us and they are becoming a real drag. Sorry for complaining though, I am sure there are many people who would give a lot to be travelling like we are.

The 140 character film review – Magical, musical, marvel-ous Christmas

TV episodes, mainly of the Neal Caffrey and White Collar variety, have occupied most of our TV/film watching time. Now as we have finished the series completely (sob) I thought I would get round to reviewing the films we watched around his Caffrey-ness and whilst we mourn the loss of him from our screens (literally.)

To Malaysia. And Beyond!

I’m not sure I have mentioned this enough yet, but I am going travelling around the world soon. In fact, I fly seven weeks yesterday. Now as it is August, I can say I fly next month. It’s so exciting, I literally can’t wait. I thought it was about time to think about packing and getting all my documents together. Probably a good thing right? I also decided, along with my travel partner, what the next leg of the journey should consist of.

We’ve already booked a (expensive) tour that takes us right through Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, and allows us to completely travel the North of Thailand, and see Bangkok. We have an orientation in Bangkok sorted for a few days, and then we have our teaching places all sorted (as much as they can be at this stage) until March. Then nothing. Meeting my parents in July in Florida has been in place as the final element of the journey for a while, but what we plan to do in between had remained unknown.
