T5W: Freebie – Magical Items

This week, after a world of wind and snow and busy work days, it’s nice to think about all things freebie and all things magical. There are no topic ideas or restraints on this week’s prompt, other than to go crazy with your own thoughts and ideas. I decided to have a look back through the Top 5 Wednesday Archives for topics that I liked but never got the chance to do. There are lots as it turns out, so I think over the coming months I may do this more often if that week’s topic doesn’t suit me!

Washington D.C.

When we were deciding where to go before we left the UK, I was dead-set that the Grand Canyon and Washington D.C. would be on the list. When we realised that we would be in America throughout the summer, planning July 4th celebrations became increasingly important. It didn’t take long for the pair of us to realise that the best place to celebrate Independence day was going to be the capital, so after planning and re-planning, booking and tweaking, we made it to Washington to see America celebrate America like only America knows how.

Happy New Year – Welcome to 2558 (2015)

It is officially New Year in Bangkok, so HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It’s just entered the year 2558 in Thailand, 2015 is already here, signalling over 3 months or travelling, and yet another unbelievable, unforgettable,  and extraordinary event in a crazy adventure.

It seems almost poetic that my 100th blog post is for New Year!
