Fat Friday: Week 1

Week 1 is done, over, finito, and I have stuck rigidly to my diet! I know. I wanted to clap myself! I am starting to see results when I look at the scales, but I am yet to see any results when I look in the mirror or feel any difference in my self. I feel like I’m hungry a lot, but that I am simultaneously getting better at saying no to snacks without thought. I am also getting into more of a routine, or at least looking at my week and making time for a routine.

Fat Friday is a weekly blog post tracking my weight loss and fitness journey, used to keep myself accountable, keep a record or my progress, and share hints & tips that have helped me.

Please join me, support me, and help me along my way as I am to improve my life for the better!

Although this time was different, my whole family weren’t there, I was booted and wheelchaired with a broken foot, and I went to the parks with a young child, there are things that remain the same. The shock of free-falling in the Tower of Terror, the excitement of seeing your favourite character has a short meet and greet line, the colourful spectacular of the firework displays, and of course, the feeling of pure, magical joy as you walk down Main Street USA and see the castle directly in front of you.

For those of you who followed my travels around the world, I do apologise that this has taken so long to write! Continue reading
