March: It’s a Wrap

Happy Easter everyone! Welcome to Spring (if you can call it that), longer days, and warmer temperatures. I feel like the weather is making a mockery of the concept of Spring right now, but here we are. Maybe it’s Mother Nature’s April Fool’s joke? I’ve been to my parent’s house for a Sunday dinner of casserole potatoes, braised potatoes, and lemon mousse, and it was pretty good.

I do, however, feel terrible. I have a headache, sore throat, and my sinuses are hurting. Add to that the weird feeling of disorientation and a lack of concentration, now is a perfect time to look at better things. A whole month has gone by since my February Wrap Post and it’s been a good reading month. Yes, I read some rubbish, but I managed to read and listen to quite a few books. The problem? Well, now as I have crossed off many of my challenges, some of my reads no longer fulfil a challenge when I finish them. April TBR

So a month on, and we’re still heading into a new month with a weather warning for snow and ice, with Baltic winds and cold temperatures. It’s supposed to be spring now, can we stop with the wintery behaviour please? I’m currently sitting curled on the couch, wearing a warm jumper, under a blanket with a hot water bottle. I should really be reading for the Easter Readathon but instead, I’m doing the opposite of reading, planning to read. I read a lot of books in March, a lot, some of which were actually on my TBR, do I’m planning to think about what I’m going to read and strategize.

I’m still ticking off challenges for Around the Year in 52 Books and Book Riot Read Harder, and I haven’t finished all the books I started last month, so I’m taking this into account with my list: Continue reading “April TBR”
