Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read in 2017, But Didn’t

2017 was a very good reading year for me. I read over 120 books. I read a lot more genres of books that I have previously. I read out of my comfort zone. I read a good mixture of books I owned, books I borrowed, re-reads, books I’ve owned for years, and new reads. Here’s hoping it continues through 2018 too!

New Year’s Resolutions: 2017 Round-Up

Can you believe that we are almost at the end of 2017 already? No, me either! It’s come round so quick. I feel like I say this all the time now, but it’s so true, time just seems to fly by. It’s been a real mixed bag, 2017 has dealt some awesome times, brilliant trips, but also unsettling news, and occasionally devastating blows. But enough of that, what about the resolutions I set at the beginning of the year? How have I done?

Just to recap, my New Years Resolutions can be found here, and have found that regularly checking in has helped me try and be accountable for the resolutions I made all the way back in January. Top Ten Tuesday: Books of 2017

You know it’s getting close to the end of the year when all of the topics swicth and become a delightful mix of festive fun, retrospective looks at the past year, and positive glances to the year ahead. I’ve done and read quite a lot in 2017. Not all of it has been good or plain sailing, but it could have been a lot worse!
