I think I am a little bit late with this wrap up. Oops. I was late with the sign up post though too so it’s following the right trend. This readathon was a lot of fun, and really made me read different types of books. The challenges were really thought through and it made for a great month’s reading!
The guidelines were pretty easy to follow:
- Hosted by The Perks of Being Noura
- There were 18 different S.H.I.E.L.D assignment. Each designed after an Avengers character.
- Each challenge has different prompts.
- Readathon starts April 14 to May 14
- You could choose to do any of the challenges (maximum 2) (challenges can be found here)
- All books are included (audiobooks, ebooks, fanfiction, graphic novels, comics, etc)
- Post your TBR using the hashtag #Avengersreadathon19 (on twitter, blogs, instagram)
Challenges Wrap
I chose the people I wanted to read for below because I liked the characters and because the reading challenges seemed doable when I signed up. I was still doing other readathons at the time so I was a bit distracted, and had a lot going on personally. I probably overstretched, but did end up completing Captain Marvel completely, and finishing half the challenges for Spiderman. Yeah, I probably could have picked an easier person than Captain Marvel, but I read a great variety of books for this readathon and I am pretty pleased about that so I think it worked in the end!

I really enjoyed this readathon. It came at the perfect time, what with Avengers Endgame coming out, and it was a really clever readathon that boasted lots of options and variants depending on the time you were able to devote, and reading speeds. It had something for everyone and was an awesome readathon. The host of this readathon Noura is actually hosting ‘Games of Bookathon’ in the coming months! You should definitely check it out, I know I will be!
