Good evening everybody! How are we all doing? How was your week? It got a bit chilly didn’t it? The temperature plummeted here in the North West of England, there was a day of snow (sadly none of it stuck), and lots of freezing wind. I also had to properly de-ice my car for the first time in 2018. It wasn’t what I wanted to be doing at 4:59am if I am honest! This weekend has been a little bit up and down, but overall, I think we can say it’s not been a failure!

I am sure that you will all be delighted to here that I returned to the exercise arena this week. I was so fed up and feeling so crap about not doing anything, that I finally decided to screw my sore foot and do something anyway. I went to a zumba class. I don’t know if it was the best idea I’ve ever had, given the jumping and the dancing, but it was nice to be out doing something again, it made me feel good to do exercise again, and my foot didn’t fall off. If I’m honest, it’s not great now (24hrs on) but it’s not awful. I might go again on Sunday, but then again I might not.
I used the slow cooker twice this week. Once was to make Spaghetti Bolognese, I always think it tastes better the longer it has been left to brew for! The second use was to make a Moroccan sweet potato, lentil, and beef stew. It was quite nice, but I don’t think I got it quite right. It really did open the floodgates for the crock pot recipe ideas. I have really enjoyed using it so I definitely need to make the most of having it, especially in this colder weather.
The issue with this week: national pizza day AND impending pancake day! I love pizza. No, that’s not a big enough exclamation. Pizza is my favourite food and I will never tire of eating it. But, Dominos etc. is not exactly in keeping with Fat Friday, so I (we) decided to make our old favourites: The Lean in 15 egg and wrap pizzas. Not gonna lie, it was one of the best, I think we make these often enough now that we can nail it every time.

Creeping on closer to that 2st! I really want to hit the 2st weight loss now. I think that is such a big goal to have now.

Yay, you got your exercise mojo back! Well done! And for once I’m not reading this in the chip shop!
This week I discovered you can make your own muesli with no cooking – it’s literally porridge oats and nuts/dried fruit/whatever. How am I an adult without this knowledge? Goodbye £4 a box Dorset Cereal!
I walked past Jo Malone this week and my mum was like “oooh the smell” and I said “those candles are £60” and she nearly had a heart attack then I said (louder than expected) “don’t worry Aldi make them” then we cackled because we are working class and posh people were looking at us. Haha!

No way, I am a poor adult too because I also did not realise this. I might give it a go!! I can add what I want then. Mind blown!
Hahaha that’s amazing. I absolutely love Aldi, a brand new one opened at the end of our street about 3 months ago, love going in there. You can just get the most random stuff in the centre aisles Haha!!
